Join us at Mother Road Brewing Co. on the 26th at 6:30pm for this month’s Astronomy on Tap!
Jacob Hyden will be talking about his studies of the motions on the surface of the Sun! The Sun’s surface is constantly in motion like all other stars. We will see how using high-resolution observations of the Sun’s surface can help estimate other stellar motions. This stellar motion can then be used to find Earth-sized exoplanets!
We’ll hold trivia after the talk, where you’ll have the chance to win some fun prizes. As always, there will be plenty of Mother Road brews on tap to enjoy. We’ll see you there!
