Uncover mysteries of far-off galaxies
Lowell Observatory is pleased to offer our tenth LOCKs (Lowell Observatory Camps for Kids) for elementary-aged children during the summer of 2022!
These activity-based, week-long day camps meet Monday through Friday from 9am – 3pm with graduation and family activities on Friday evening (circumstances pending.)
Campers in grades 1 through 6 will explore the mysteries of the cosmos through hands-on science investigations. Topics include The Sun, Moon, and Electromagnetic Spectrum. Our experienced camp counselors will lead campers through exciting team-building exercises and standards-aligned activities.
We enroll campers based on the grade they will be entering in the Fall. For example, if your child will be attending 2nd grade this fall, they should be enrolled in the 1st/2nd camp.*
