Experience no-wait stargazing with a Premium Access experience—only at Lowell Observatory.
These private, personalized expeditions across the stars are so much more than a stargazing session—they are a guided journey through the cosmos that allows you to choose your own destinations.

Using our advanced telescopes, specially trained educators will show you the best of what the night sky has to offer, including any types of objects that you would like to see. Outside, your educator will use a high-powered laser to point out prominent stars and constellations while sharing epic tales of how the stars first formed.* For a limited time, Members receive a 10% discount on Premium Access experiences.

As a VIP guest, you will have exclusive access to the 24-inch Dyer Telescope or the Giovale Open Deck Observatory:

LIMITED TIME ONLY: December 1, 2020 – January 3, 2021

Premium Access: The Great Conjunction Experience offers multiple telescopes for viewing The Great Conjunction as well as other notable objects, when possible, such as Mars, our Moon, our Sun, and other bright stars! We have temporarily opened our Premium Access experiences to include daytime viewing, just in time for the Great Conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn. Not all programs will be able to view the Sun, as some ticket times occur after the sun sets at Lowell Observatory. If solar viewing is on your list, be sure to pick a program that occurs well before sunset! At just $15 per person, you won’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Masks are required for viewing, and telescope eyepieces will be sanitized between use by staff. Our specially trained educators will practice physical distancing throughout the duration of your time at Lowell Observatory. To keep groups separate, please do not arrive more than 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled start time.

Unveil the universe at Lowell Observatory in this exclusive, cautious approach to reopening.

*Barring any operational issues and weather permitting.

Masks are required in all indoor areas and during telescope viewing.  A mask will be provided for you if you do not have one.
