Join Lowell Observatory and Mother Road Brewing Co. on January 28th at 6:30pm for Astronomy on Tap! Listen to fascinating science talks, play trivia to win out-of-this-world prizes, and of course, enjoy Mother Road brews on tap.

This month’s speaker is NAU planetary scientist Justin Crevier, who will talk about the study of asteroids over the years! We’re going to look at what we now understand about asteroids, compared to what we knew ~40 years ago, and how this newer understanding will affect the way we work with asteroids in the near future. We’ll briefly look at the mineral properties of asteroids, at the technology that improved our understanding, and at current and upcoming asteroid science missions. We’ll see you there!
