Using our advanced telescopes, specially trained educators will show you the best of what the night sky has to offer, provide guided tours of our best historic sites, and use a high-powered laser to point out prominent stars and constellations while sharing epic tales of how the stars first formed. Tour Groups & Bus Tours
Planning a group or bus tour? Look no further! Unforgettable experiences await at Lowell Observatory. Groups can join the public and explore our historic campus on their own, or book an exclusive guided tour. Check out our tour packages and experiences.
In-Person School Field Trips
We offer activity-based programs for groups of under 50 students in grades 4th, 5th, and 6th. All activity-based programs will be aligned with Arizona Science Standards. Classic school field trips are available for school groups with more than 50 students attending. Virtual School Field Trips
Education knows no limits! Book a virtual school field trip so your students can experience the wonders of the universe from the classroom. We are still offering virtual school tours of its historic telescopes on Wednesdays at 9am or 12pm.
