Planning a group or bus tour? Look no further! Unforgettable experiences await at Lowell Observatory. Groups can join the public and explore our historic campus on their own, or book an exclusive guided tour. Check out our tour packages and experiences.
In-Person School Field Trips
We are now accepting reservations for school field trips for 2023. We are changing the way school field trips are experienced at the observatory and are now offering activity-based programs for groups under 50 students in grade bands, 4th, 5th, and 6th. All activity-based programs will be aligned with Arizona Science Standards. Classic school field trips are available for school groups with more than 50 students attending. Virtual School Field Trips
Education knows no limits! Book a virtual school field trip so your students can experience the wonders of the universe from the classroom. We are still offering virtual school tours of its historic telescopes on Wednesdays at 9am or 12pm.
