GEODES (Geophysical Exploration of the Dynamics and Evolution of the Solar System) is a team within the NASA Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute. They investigate the Moon, near-Earth asteroids, and the moons of Mars with geophysics methods to enable the exploration of their surfaces. Join GEODES Principal Investigator Dr. Nick Schmerr for a talk at Lowell Observatory about how his team’s research at Flagstaff’s San Francisco volcanic fields will help the astronauts of the Artemis mission prepare to explore the Moon.

*This talk is included with general admission.
