National Astronomy Day is on Saturday, October 9, and we’re celebrating with a special live event featuring PhD student Lauren Biddle! Lauren is currently pursuing her PhD in Astronomy and Planetary Science at Northern Arizona University, working closely with Lowell astronomers Dr. Joe Llama and Dr. Lisa Prato. Lauren’s work aims to improve our understanding of young star activity and how it may affect the evolution of planets forming around them.
