Mars Opposition at Lowell Observatory

See the opposition of Mars at the one and only Giovale Open Deck Observatory (GODO) on December 8, 2022! Starting at 6:00pm, join us in viewing Mars at its biggest and brightest through the six state-of-the-art telescopes of the GODO. Later on, hear astronomer, researcher, and Mars expert Dr. Jennifer Hanley will present results from laboratory experiments and modeling used to study the possibility of liquid water once being present on the surface of Mars, and discuss how those relate to observations from current, past and future missions to the planet.
