Host your private event in one of our campus's halls and meeting spaces.

Hosting a meeting, conference, or other gathering? Choose from a large outdoor area, a medium-sized conference room, or a small meeting space. Both indoor spaces feature a large screen and speaker system that can be used for multimedia presentations, video game tournaments, film screenings, and more.

  • Great Planetary Hall

    A stunning centerpiece for large corporate gatherings
    Seats: 300 lecture-style | 150 for dining
    Pricing:

    • Off-season (Nov–Apr): $1,500 half-day | $2,400 full-day
    • Peak season (May–Oct): $1,800 half-day | $3,600 full-day

    Includes: Catering kitchen, tables & chairs, IT support (projector, drop-down screen, lectern)

    Bonus: Access to the Dwarf Planet Patio for cocktail hours or private telescope viewing

  • Rooftop Terrace

    Elevate your event with breathtaking views of Flagstaff

  • Hendricks Center for Planetary Studies Conference Room

    Located centrally on our campus, the Hendricks Center for Planetary Studies conference room is ideal for business meetings, retreats, or small birthday parties.

    • Space for up to 50 guests
    • Available
      • Monday – Friday 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
      • Saturday & Sunday 8:00 am – 10:00 pm
    • One hour block rental minimum
      • Discounted rate after the first hour
    • Chairs and conference tables provided (50 chairs and 8 tables)
    • Reservation requests must be made via email.

      • Evening meetings/events may have access to public programs or educational programming (for a fee)

  • Astrolab at the Giovale Open Deck Observatory

    The Giovale Open Deck Observatory (GODO) was completed in October of 2019. The Astrolab, located in the rear of the building, is a cutting-edge space ideal for smaller events.

    • ~500 sq ft
    • Space for up to 10 guests
    • Available 8am – 4pm 
    • Includes 10 chairs
    • Rental can be made hourly, half-day, or full-day
    • Reservation requests must be made via email.
