Lowell Observatory Camps for Kids
Looking for some educational summer fun for your little astronomer? LOCKs has you covered!
An important message regarding 2021 Lowell Observatory Camps for Kids
Lowell Observatory has resumed elementary and middle school summer science camps for 2021. We are closely following CDC guidelines and regulations on Mars Hill to ensure everyone’s health and safety, and so we have decided to operate at half capacity and exclusively outdoors. This decision is subject to change as more of our colleagues and neighbors receive the vaccine, and the observatory moves through the appropriate phases; further details can be found on our COVID-19 Information page.
Our Saturday morning preschool camps will resume as the Flagstaff weather gets warmer. These classes will also take place exclusively outside.
The Counselor in Training (CIT) program for high school students has been temporarily suspended as we navigate through this unprecedented time. We plan to resume the program in the future.
If you have any questions, our dedicated staff is always here to help. Please contact Education Coordinator Kelly Ferguson for questions, comments, or concerns (contact info above).
