Join Dr. David Kring, from The Center for Lunar Science & Exploration, for a talk about The Artemis Exploration Zone. The successful launch and flight of Artemis I to the Moon is the first stage of an Artemis program that explores the Moon and develops a capability to press deeper into the Solar System. The next mission, Artemis II, will provide astronauts with an opportunity to orbit the Moon. Those two missions pave the way for Artemis III, which will land astronauts at the lunar south pole in 2025. This evening you can hear from one of the scientists studying Artemis landing sites and his description of possible astronaut activities in that south polar terrain.
