Of the many telescope domes found on Lowell Observatory’s central Flagstaff campus, the most prolific and recognizable is the Clark Dome.
During open house hours at the Clark Dome, you can get an up-close look at the world famous 24″ Clark Refractor, take photos, and hear a bit about the history of the storied telescope and its dome. Weather permitting, you can even take a peek through the very telescope Percival Lowell peered through 125 years ago.
