We experience the full range of seasons here in Flagstaff, so our campus is visually stunning year-round. It bursts to life with colorful flowers in the spring and summer, autumn leaves in the fall, and delicate blankets of snow in the winter.
All wedding events include an on-site walk-through, two site visits, access to Lowell Observatory’s general admission for wedding party and guests, and opportunities for exclusive access for wedding photoshoots. Add-ons like portable telescopes, heaters, and gift bags are available for additional fees.

Hold an intimate ceremony inside the Ponderosa pine dome of our 1896 Victorian Clark Telescope. You’ll be making your own history next to the telescope that mapped the Moon for the Apollo missions.

**All wedding packages require an event coordinator (which can be a professional,
family member or friend), event insurance and a licensed bartender if serving alcohol.
Wedding packages include an initial onsite tour and 1 site visit or rehearsal before the
event. Venue access includes set up & take down time. If additional time is needed,
arrangements must be made with the Venue Manager and may have a fee.
All wedding packages will be subject to 2.581% tax.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking for all rentals and packages
with the remaining balance due 60 days prior to the event.
Cancellation Policy:
Lowell Observatory reserves the right to cancel the event at any time. If the
deposit/payment is not received by the agreed upon date, the reservation will
automatically be void, and the venue will become available for others to reserve. All
cancellations must be done in writing and emailed to events@lowell.edu.
The following will apply to those who cancel their event:
31-59 days prior to event – 50% refunded
0-30 days prior to event – 0% refunded
