Give your off-site event a touch of astronomical wonder.
A star party is an evening under the stars, observing with others. Private telescope viewing can be enjoyed by small to large groups. A Lowell educator will be present to direct telescopes, answer questions, and give information on the objects being viewed. If you’re looking to add a unique feature to your event, a telescope rental is a perfect way to go!
- Groups can have 1 – 2 telescopes and may schedule telescope viewing for up to 2 hours.
- Each star party comes with two trained Lowell staff (educators) and at least one telescope.
- Event locations must have three main things:
- Dark skies
- Open horizons
- Flat ground
